The liver function test is helpful to detect fatty liver problem. This is the blood test. Other than a blood test, the doctor can also recommend an ultrasound, sonography, and MRI depending upon the severity of the condition.
There is no particular treatment for fatty liver disease. In simple fatty liver problem, the doctor recommends to change food habits, lose weight, and do exercise. In alcoholic fatty liver, the doctor recommends to stop alcohol consumption. The doctor recommends surgery in a critical condition like liver cirrhosis,. A liver transplant is suggested in case of liver failure.
